A Malvern-based company that has been a leader in the plastics industry for almost 100 years has celebrated a new era for the business with a celebratory event marking its rebrand.
LGG Charlesworth was rebranded Talisman Plastics on 1 June and to mark the transformation a celebration event which included a hog roast for staff.
Shaun Champion, who was appointed managing director of the company on 1 May, said: “The rebrand is a significant milestone for us. It brings together three trading divisions under a single brand while maintaining the trust, credibility and industry knowledge that we have attained over the past 100 years.
“We wanted to celebrate the occasion with an official unveiling event for the new Talisman Plastics brand, along with the launch of a new website on 1 June. It was a great occasion and we were pleased to see so many faces, new and old, joining us.”
As part of the rebranding and restructuring of the company, significant investment has taken place, including new machinery creating further capacity; the appointment of new Tooling and Techanical managers; and the acquisition of an established caps and enclosures company.
Turnover is on target to be 10% up on 2017.
“We have plans for further growth, supported by more investment. Our new name and identity is an important part of that as is our strength as an established leader in the technical injection moulding market”
