Quality
Quality, standards & sustainability aren’t just buzzwords to us. We’re committed to working in a way which drives quality and promotes the best sustainable practices across our manufacturing processes. Talisman Plastics manufacturing facility uses systems and processes which are certified to ISO 9001:2015 and BRCGS.

Monitoring
Talisman Plastics increases efficiency thanks to the Intouch Monitoring system. Real-time monitoring removes the costs and errors of collecting production and process data manually and enables our people to use their time more efficiently whilst the high visibility motivates production staff to keep machines operational.

NPI (New Product Introduction)
Design and development is a key stage of any project. Developing plastic components can be a complex task, involving many factors that address a list of requirements of the application. “How is the part to be used?” “How does it fit to other parts in the assembly?” “What loads will it experience in use?” In addition to functional and structural issues, processing issues play a key role in the design of an injection moulded component. How the molten plastic enters, fills, and cools within the cavity to form the component largely drives what form the features in that component should take. The Talisman team can advise on component design, ensuring the component can be injection moulded whilst taking into consideration its final application.
Warehouse & Delivery
Talisman Plastics are flexible with respect to our customers packaging requirements, the customer is given a preference to use cardboard or implement returnable packaging options. Pallets are prepared by our despatch team in a secure and robust manner before shipment. Best practices are followed to maintain the integrity of the packaging, as a minimum labelling is applied to all deliveries, containing the required customer information. Documentation such as delivery notes, barcoding, supplier name, part number, delivery quantity and dates are provided in a clear and legible manner. Where applicable, Talisman Plastics will provide Certificates of Conformity for goods supplied. The level of traceability required is agreed with the customer prior to any deliveries being completed.
Regular shipments are carried out inside and outside of the UK, using the common shipping terms, dependant on the customer and their requirements. An investment of £500,000 in 2013 saw Talisman increase the size of their warehouse to enable better material and product storage. Well organised stock control that links into our Sage ERP system allows us to run a faster, smarter more connected business linking manufacturing, supply chain and business intelligence together for greater overall performance.
